how involved is swapping the dash

Is swapping the dash for a higher level leather stitched unit a royal PITA? Didn't see a write up by I may be using the wrong term. The part above the glove box/radio/around the spedo up to the wind shield that would get covered with a dash mat.

Yes!!! I had to take mine out to run a speaker wire to my center dazh speaker hole, but never was able to get the dash complely out. You have to remove about 60 bolts and screws and i am not exaggerating. Not to mention disconnect battery and remove the passenger airbag.

..and although the leather dashes look great, I believe the are troublesome. (peeling, etc.)
