I'm thinking about getting a custom exhaust, instead of buying an expensive kit. I think I might just to an axle dump though. How much did you guys spend on yours?

Are you wanting a single or dual exhaust? That is going to play a major factor in your final cost.

$ 800 Bucks for my last fitment as per my signature but with best tips out there. Its my third time swapping mufflers and tail pipe/tips configuration. Am luckey as we have an awesome custom exhaust shop here and being most OEM set ups last a good 10 years in Western Canada it should last a while. What I mean is there are very few muffler shops so to stay in business you must offer great service.

Are you just gonna do behind the y and back or do headers all the way back? Matt brought up a good point also are you gonna do duals or single? Im running pacesetter longtubes into their 3" off road Y straight 3" back to a single chamber dumped before the axel.

I spent $95 for a setup dumped at the axle; $35 for a Magnaflow on CL, $60 to have a local muffler shop weld it up.

I might just do that. I want a rear exit exhaust system, but I don't want to spend $500 + on one. I have a hoist and a welder at home, so this would be a pretty straight forward install.

jay-son love the exhaust. Wondering why they didn't put the tips in line with the bed? When I did they, that is one of the key things i asked my customers. I'm going to steal your design for my rig.
