How much weight can I Haul in a 2009 1500 5.7?

Go by the specs. Short trips and how many? Like others said get a dump trailer no shoveling out of the truck.

How far and how fast? I've done a ton of pellets about 7 1/2 miles keeping it to about 45 mph on a 1500 crew cab 6.5' bed, typically about 3 ton a year.

It handles it so so, it's definitely overloaded but for the distance/speeds I travel doing it it's ok.
