How soon is too soon?

I just purchased a 2019 Laramie 1500 with 120 miles on her. I want to put an intake on for more pronounced engine sound but I know the computer is still calibrating to how I drive and so forth. My question is how soon is everyone modding their vehicles? I’m not worried about warranty, I only have what came with the truck. I’m not going crazy with any mods all I want to do is put on the afe intake and that’s it for power.

i wouldnt worry about as when you install a CAI manufacturers suggest you disconnect the battery to reset the PCM so it adjust to the new mod. I have modded vehicles as soon as I got them in my driveway from the dealer. I have had a pile of parts waiting for the truck/car to arrive.
