How to access to this 12V cigarette plug?

I would like to access to the wires of this 12V cigarette plug (in order to connect permanently a dashcam to it).


How can I access to its wires ? How do I remove the center console ?

There are two screws under the little cubby beneath the AC controls and one screw under the little mat in the center down by that outlet. Unscrew those three then the whole piece, even with the chrome ring, unclips and comes off. Just go nice and slow and you'll pull it off

You know the cig plug is only hot with switch on if you want constant 12 you need to use the rear plug in console and switch the fuse to the next slot under the hood the owners manual shows where to switch it to

There's a good write up somewhere in the forum... Like it was said above two screws in the front cubby and another in the bottom of the big storage area. Not hard to do.

I installed my 2 dashcams yesterday to the wiring of the cigar plug there.
All easy
