So when I bought the truck the guy had told me he ran over a fire hydrant backing up, I can only imagine the terror on his face! So I just left it alone until now! Here is the problem:

So I was just going to have it cut out like the new rams and make it dual exhaust but the shops I asked about doing it said it wouldn't look the same. And probably not good. So that's not gonna work, trying to figure out what to do, if I bought I new one pre painted I think I'm looking at 400+ am I correct? And If I find one primered and ready to paint I think I would be paying even more but I want to keep it red, what would my best bet be?

Go on ebay and buy a new bumper. A similar thing happened to my Gen2...straight, undented, used ones are hard to find even on Craigslist.

Could do a 3rd gen. Just have make brackets. I was always going to do this but haven't got around yet (bumpers (yeah front too) are sitting at my parents place)

Only other option I can think of is a roll pan

Werm, he's got a 3rd gen already :-X

Finding a straight rear bumper is surprisingly hard to do.
Just knuckle under and get one!

All the junkyards around me in Dallas are VERY junky haha not in a good way, people tear those places apart, I mean I found 3 trucks like mine at a yard and there were absolutely no parts left to take from that truck except for maybe dented scratched up fenders

I definitely want it to be red though. Could I get that black one painted?

So you think maybe 100-150 at the most 200? So again, I'm still looking at around 400 maybe a little less

You can get a street scene hidden hitch, it fits behind the rollpan and the hitch comes thru behind the license plate for towing. But for all, you could prolly get a regular bumper. I guess it depends on the look you're goin for lol

Haha so basically, no matter which way I go I'm looking at about 400 dollars?

Well, my rollpan was $80 and the Street Scene hitch was about $200. Instead of just bolting my rollpan in, I had it welded in and molded and then painted. So after all was said and done, it was close to $400. But I had my tailgate shaved and painted at that same time. If you just wanted to bolt in the rollpan for now and get the hitch, it'd only be around $280 plus the shipping for both items. :D
