I grabbed that "ported" 87 that was on Ebay last week. Don't know if any of you guys and gals saw it. I got the stock off and the "ported" one sitting right beside it - I can't see where it's ported. I know I need reading glasses, but - can anyone point me to something that I should be able to see that confirms it is indeed ported? Thanks.

also if anyone has the torque specs for the tb, the two back bolts were finger tight on this one, straight from Mexico.

Its a sizeable differance esp when you set them side by side. Post up a pic of the TB front side and back side.

Looks like alill has been done to it but no 87mm. Does it say who made it? The blade has markings on it also that seem alill odd.

it's identical to the one I took off. it's a 251AB which is the same as the one I took off the 13. Wouldn't you be able to see some port work on it, don't they still half the shaft and all that?

The part # should be the same on them, the shop just cnc's them from the stock cores. You should see the leading edge all the way down almost to the blade tappered or straight through at a bigger port size. If it looks identical to your stock one them I would contact the seller and ask if there was a mix up. Hope they can help you if not hit me or Matt up and we can get you one of ours on the way.

Looks like a sizable difference in wall thickness to me
Can you take that picture again with a tape measure across the top of each or measure the ID with a caliper if you have one

That pic is front/back side not "ported" beside OEM.

The CNC, if done right, actually causes differences in diameter so that when the blade is WOT, you exceed the stock 80mm opening by 7mm in this case. When the blade is at low demand you're right there at stock, so your specs are all good and you don't need a tune. That's why you have to have a CNC and shouldn't try to hand port your TB; you need that irregular cut. Some machine shops will also go to 1/2 shaft on the blade and polish it to a knife edge--none of which appears to have been done on what you show in your pics.
Also, remember your manifold is plastic, hand tighten bolts carefully to avoid stripping out the bolt holes.
