I've done a ****load of these on the 07-08s, same process basically.

The sealant is different, so you'll need to allot for more baking time.

On where to get lights? ME! I am a distributor for TYC headlights. I have a handful of sets here now and can ship Friday (day off!) - a set of 07-08s would run $160 shipped

I keep forgetting to ask you this - when you use a high/low projector (like the morimoto's), you just need the wiring to be for a bi-xenon kit, right? I can't think you would want a lamp solenoid as well as the shroud one...

yeah, just need a bixenon harness - may need mating plugs to go from the harness's bix connection to the projector though. nothing crazy

There are two problems with that, though: first, HIDs take several seconds to come up to full brightness, and it is hard on them to switch them on and off rapidly; also - and i say this having been followed by my wife in her Honda Civic with HID bi-x bulbs in some TYC housings - you will blind everyone on the road.

Either get the TYC housings or even some ebay projectors and some slightly up-rated bulbs (think 80 watt), or spend the money on a real retrofit.

just my 2¢

sorry man, the thread is 2.5 years old.........I must have deleted the pics at some point here.

I think.....most of the pics came from this album though - 02-05 - Projectors - Mini Shrouds

(well, they were on my photobucket album, not my website hosted album there).

As for where to get parts, I sell those. Check here for more details / pricing - Morimoto Mini H1 Projectors

Sorry for bringing up an old thread but I figured i would post here instead of creating a new. How are are you sealing the HID bulb in the back of the headlight? it seems the way these pictures show (same way I have mine) it leaves the bulb and even the inside of the headlight open to moisture inside? Is there any better way to seal it to prevent this, or have you found out its not an issue.
