How to turn Seatbelt Chime off

Worked on my 08 and 16. Finally don't have to hear that stupid chime going off when I'm driving in my neighborhood or looking for a tractor in my work truck.

This information is very helpful. I had 3 dealerships tell me that the seat belt alarm could not be disabled. One dealership tried to sell me a $200 replacement seat belt just so I could get the buckle to place in the seat belt receiver! Very thankful that this worked on my 2016 Ram Power Wagon. Thanks for sharing!!

I tried it on my 14 tonight and it worked. I always wear my seat belt but my mom and dad's dog doesn't when I watch him while they are out of town. I have a regular cab so he has no choice but to sit up front.

So when you want to buckle up do you just remove the junk yard one and toss is aside?

Just did my 2017 1500 and 2016 2500.

The 2017 dinged once when complete, the 2016 dinged after the third click and again when turned off.

Also, the 2017 no longer dings at all, 2016 does only on initial startup lol. Both still have the warning lights though.
