How to turn Seatbelt Chime off

Agreed, I turned mine off for hunting and riding in the pastures. I took it as you don't wear it because the law is lenient on. All the things you described are what "I" would consider okay, but just thought riding down the road with it off is not a good idea.

Glad I don't have a flashing screen...

My 14 had this issue and it required a software update , as a recall I think , not positive the dealer did it for free though.

I'm rolling with no tire sensors last 11k miles. Hence my statement of disabling the system all together.

I ordered a short seat belt extender from amazon last week. It simply plugs into the part that that the seat belt goes into and then you plug the seat belt into it. A bonus I found today is that it keeps the chime off and the dash light off even when the seat belt is not used, It was worth it just for that alone.
It even works in my Hellcat.

this " modification " was perhaps, one of the most rewarding and simple things ever.

now i can get the mail and then drive 1/2 mile to house without that dang chime.

makes me think the government is outta my truck ( a little bit )

Just found out it disables the chime when the passenger has their seatbelt unfastened also.
