Nice truck, makes me realize my truck really is huge. If I ever get the ctd I want I may just go with a six inch and not the 8" long arm.

yeah your truck is pretty huge.

i wanted the 8" long arm at first, but then decided that it wasnt worth the extra grand to me

yeah, and honestly if i went any bigger than current it would start to be a pain, even with steps sides its getting kinda hard to throw the kiddo in the back. but it is totally worth it every time the mother in law complains about how high it is lol.

40.5 front, 44.25 rear...

Do any of you guys have major problems with ball joint ware or other front end parts failing regulatory or often? I've been told that ram front ends go to sh*t once even slightly lifted

Ive had bilsteins shocks maxed at 2.8" on top of my 6" rcx for just under 40,000 miles and I havent had any parts worn or replaced. Ive heard the 13s+ might have had issues but my '12 has been good.

I've ran lifted my whole life, and was thinking about a leveling kit on this truck, I don't mind replacing parts because of mods, but I don't want to run into the same problem monthly...

2014 ram 2500 with the 6.4.... and I've heard the same thing about the 13s+, makes me worried on my brand new truck, lol

1500's are where the issues come into play, not HD's with the solid front axle

Yeah I've been told by many to upgrade my axle (2nd gen 1500 so I have a Dana 44 in the front) for running 37s. Personally I haven't had any problems yet.

Ah, good to know... any idea on what my front axle is? Wouldn't mind a locker up there and possibly a new R&P ratio if I go bigger tire size
