Welcome! This forum was the best mod I did when I bought my ram a year ago haha!
Sorry to hear about the waterpump issue. Make sure they used the correct coolant if not then it needed flush like yesterday.
Thank you!

Today I drove it for the first time since the water pump replacement and there is a sloshing/gurgling water noise from the engine. Seems like air is trapped in the coolant system. Everything I see just says to bleed the system when it's cool. Debating whether or not to make the dealership handle this since they did the repair.

Sounds like not bled. There are vids on how to do yerself, or U can roll dice on dealership, cause THAT should have been done properly also. U talking about a real dealership or a 3rd party buy/sell yard? Cause bleeding air out, etc all part of pump replacement. Should have been flushed and all NEW proper coolant also.

Small local used car dealership with their own garage and two locations. Very highly rated and recommended in my area. Went there because A) they had the truck I wanted, b) they offered a 5000 mile 90 day warranty on it, and c) the reviews.

Yeah we stopped burning in late April. I am currently laser focused on making sure the truck runs well and is maintained properly. All the bigger beautification projects are down the road. I know the dealership rushed to get me my truck back last night so I could get to work today, so I want to give them the benefit of the doubt at this point.

If job was rushed and air not properly bleed out of system I’m going to assume it wasn’t flushed either. So I myself would find out exactly what coolant was used if HOAT and OAT are mixed well air in your system will be nothing compared to trying to unclog the jello out of that motor. Also may just wanna check that thermostat and see if the little hole is at the top of the housing. If it wasnt flushed well I’d be doing that regardless of what they put in. Lots of good videos on the YouTube how to do it. Just don’t follow any that show using a garden hose haha. Couple Distilled Water flushes followed by a refill with the proper mopar coolant.
