Well, it sure seems the did a good job on that piece! I guess my only concerns would be
1) high price vs energy savings (is it worth the high price)
2) reliability, as with all the PHEV's is lower due to dual power systems
3) weight, maybe - insurance companies and state registration may tax the $hit outta this pig because the weight is more dangerous to other vehicles in collisions and has more road wear than lighter trucks (taxed by weight).
4) first years of any design is for the risk-takers that love shaking design bugs out, if they have the time.

Agreed. I don't believe I'd be swapping this ram charger for my simple v8 any day in the near future, but I'm just thinking about long term, future gov'ts possibly tightening up the regulation where we can only get away driving something like this or a pure EV, and I'd prefer the charger by a long shot over the EV.

This thing is apparently so "clean" that they don't need to add emissions equipment to the v6. So if it comes down to this system vs a hurricane/turbo with a GPF, I'd probably swing for the charger once it's been on the market for a year or two.

Towing performance will be really good too, all that heavy weight down low combined with 600+ hp and > 2000 lbs of payload!

Plus the motor is the current Pentastar V6, I've read.
Very reliable, bugs all worked out.
