Hurst center shifter

Ok I like the white shift ball but can't see spending $288.00 for the Challenger kit so I'm told that it will fit. Is the Auto center shifter in the Challenger and the Ram the same(looks the same) and is there a cheaper way to just get the rod and ball without the whole plate kit. I want to do both the Challenger and Ram with matching knobs.

You might have to peruse some of the aftermarket shops to see what they offer for the rod and ball. Or maybe you can find a totaled Challenger at an auto recycling yard.

I am not sure if they are the same, though.

Thanks ! I beat you to it tho. I found the same one on ebay but with the white knob. I don't know why Hurst can't sell them this way.

You have any pics of yours? How did you convert yours to a console center shift and eliminate the column shifter? Just curious...

It's a simple modification using new OEM parts from a 1500.
