They scream 8.5" of sidewall so I can air down my tires offroad.

If you drop your psi to 15-20 and hit a bump offroad, there is a good chance your tire will pop off the bead. For 35s I wouldn't go bigger than a 17" .

That is why 35s on 20s scream city boy. But most city boys don't know that.

Dave's truck is just screaming "I can do this" and 20s don't fit with that.
