I recently took aluminum rims off of my 2010 Ram 2500 and put on stock 2500 rims. It had security lugs but I could nor get the caps in so I put on the lugs the guys gave me with the rims. Most fit pretty well but a few only went on so far. I impacted them over the rough spot and got them all on. I had to get the fronta switched with the backa today and the tire place said the lig studs need to be replaced. They did not say crossthreaded but said they are pancaked at the ends and that they need replacement. Never dealt with this before but its a pain. I have a 2500 Hemi and my mechanic said for some reason the truck has diesel lug studs. Hey hemu lug studs did not fit. Any thoughts?
