I wasn't 100% sure for a while if I wanted to or not, but I'm so happy I finally took the plunge. I bought a stripe-off wheel but was too afraid to use it, haha. So I ended up removing the adhesive by hand.

What did you "debadge"? Looks like you just removed the "4x4" and "ram 1500" logos correct?

Not trying to be a ****, but that's not really rebadging.

Not saying it looks bad, just doesn't look like anything. Debadging to "me" would be to remove any ALL badges on the vehicle.

Isn't removing the badges debadging? I mean...it's right in the name. Taking badges off...debagding.

What do you consider debading? (Legitmate question here. I could have very well misunderstood).

Either way, I removed some of my badges...call it what you want.

Umm, Semi-Debadging?? Maybe, Partial debadging?? Either way it still classifies as a level of debadging:word:

LOL, you guys crack me up. Whenever someone has an opinion that goes against the majority, you automatically start a war.

I call it cleaning the vehicle up. Debadging "TO ME" would mean removing ALL the badges that came on the vehicle. The ones he removed already, the hemi badges on the fenders and to take it a step further, removing the front and rear grill emblems.

Let see how much static I get over this one now, lol.:roflsquared:

I would rip of the Hemi badges as well, completely clean it up!

As far as if this is debadging, its the exact definition of...The Front and rear would leave holes and would require body work to fill, which is technically "shaving" the emblems, so I say this is exactly what one would call debadging

When I hear the term debadge, my mind automatically goes to "total, complete debadging" too. But what he did still classifies as debadging, I just don't like missing an opportunity to stir the pot a little !! :naughty:

I hope you are not trying to be a "dxxk," as that isn't a very positive thing to do! :)

Debadging
Debadging refers to the process of removing the manufacturer's badges from a vehicle. This can be done to complement the smoothed-out bodywork of a modified car, or to disguise a lower-specification model.

I'm sure there are other definitions, but this is one I found on Google. I think removing the Ram emblems would add another level of modification that we could call de-embleling! :roflsquared:

If you do both, we could call it "de-badging & de-embleling!" If you add new badges and removed the emblems, you could call it "re-badging & de-embleling." Wouldn't de-embleling create gross craters on the front and back of the truck?

Regardless, I like the look without the big "chromy" letters and numbers!

I've thought about removing the Hemi badge as well. I saw another truck just like mine but it was lowered and had all the badges removed. Looked really sweet.

I did the same thing but I painted the Hemi badge black except for the red 5.7 Liter part. I also purchased the black emblems for the grille and tailgate.

Just "partially" debadged my 2014 R/T. I left the Hemi and front / rear Rams. I really like the clean look, but wanted to brag about the Hemi!!!
