i phone and my gig?

I just installed my new my gig with the support from this forum but I cant get files like pictures or songs from my i phone to the my gig. Any advice?

You need to put it on a flash drive.

also you won't be able to use your iphone as an ipod thru the usb jack in the glove box. It doesn't work. the phone software is too new for the radio. The usb jack on the radio is only for flash drives

i think i also read that if you just put pics on the flash drive it won't recognize it. You have to also have mp3's on there
