For those that have a 3D printer and want to make a product that every 4th gen needs I have an idea for you.
A mount for the 3rd brake light that fills in the monster gap at the top.

I was washing my truck the other day and I had pine needles and the helicopter seeds that every tree around me is dropping down in the gap of my 3rd brake light. I do have a thinker gasket in there already but the gap at the very top is still fairly large. If you want to get creative you could also make a wedge that is oversized to overhang the top of the light.

Just an idea-

I was going to make one out of fiberglass. I kinda amazed a company had not made this out of rubber yet? With the amount of 3rd brake light leaks

No third light brake light leak issue like hundreds of thousand other owners. But to be pro active I just wedged in about 18" of rubber round cord in the groove between the body and lens. Not a new gasket but a dam stop before the factory one.
God bless those who used silicone caulking as a fix
Good luck changing a bulb
