If you could have ANY truck, what would it be.

2019?
Engine
5.7?
I'd take the engine from a Ford (3.5 EcoBoost), combined with the transmission and interior of the RAM, the exterior from a RAM, and the suspension from the RAM. Oh wait, I'll just take the engine from a RAM, too. Yep, 2019 RAM 1500 Limited. That'll do.

Really my biggest adjustment coming from an F-150 is the relative lack of low-end torque out of the 5.7, compared to the 3.5 EcoBoost. My 2 F-150s hardly ever had to downshift to go up inclines.

Actually, I think if they just put a booster (turbo or supercharger) on the 3.6 Pentastar they'd have a winner!
Forget the E-torq and boost that sucker...

Do I have to choose?

Anybody remember this show?

Still the best looking lifted truck ever. Actually owned a clone at one point. Mine was an F-150, 460 under the hood and 38.5 Ground Hawgs.

Maybe I watched too much TV as a kid.

It isn't a long bed, but it is my favorite truck I have ever owned.

Right now it has the cancer and a clutch issue. My son and I are going to be restoring it.

1980 Plymouth Trailduster is the truck I want.

Had a 1979, should have never sold it.

yep...Simon & Simon

and I had 5 of them.......all 79...all 4x4....all quad headlight

forgot to mention, the brown/tan one had a 450 hp 360 (built by me), 6" suspension, 3" body, 39" swampers, and ran the 1/8th mile as you see it in 9.2 seconds - which ain't bad for a 6000 lb brick with crappy gearing

and the red & silver one had a healthy police 360 in it, and a dana 60 dually front converted to single wheel, dana 70 rear, & NP 205, all from a 1 ton truck.

the one behind the garage you can't see had a crazy mural painted all over it, and the red & white one had a combo cb/am/fm/8 track radio in it

the others were just parts trucks for the most part
