If you had $2000.00 to spend on your truck what would you do?

I've got some money set aside and trying to think of ideas. I have a 2012 tequila sunrise 1500 crew with 5.7 and it's so far untouched. I don't know whether to do several smaller things or one or two bigger. I'm just too indecisive lol.

Hard to say. As far as color / accessories I want things I add to be black, I don't think tequila sunrise and chrome will work as well. I've pondered both lifting and lowering. I've considered using plasti dip on the wheels. I've considered adding HP to the engine but also read the transmission doesn't really like much beyond stock power. I'm fairly open, maybe fishing for ideas.

Stage 2 VB for trans. Muffler delete. New ZONE UCA and some bilsteins. 180° Tstat. Maybe some upgraded speakers.
It really depends on what your looking for. Performance or looks? On road or offroad? How much time you spending in your truck?

Well I like both lifted and lowered look. If I lower it I would likely try to add HP and go for hot rod styling. If I lifted it I would likely go more into looks, nice wheels / tires (nitto) black push bar, hidden winch, lights, enough power addition to turn the extra weight. I've got ideas, maybe too many.

I'm looking at the same thing, about 2 large.....but I am leaning more towards the way I use the truck (ie function).....

1) Mopar sliding toolbox & rails
2) Bedrug
3) Amp power steps

I do have wheel to wheel mopar steps bars on it now, but I like the way the truck looks better without them, but I do need something for entry/exit.

I also still need to install my BT catch can I got way back during the 50% off sale

Still ain't even got 7800 miles on her yet.........

you don't have to spend 1200 on tires unless you want taller, cooper makes a great tire. The discovery is a great tire mounted balanced out the door is more like $800 for stock size. side steps, spray in bed liner, back up camera if yours doesn't have one I love mine, billet grill, upgrade stock speakers, tool box or bed cover, window tint, and if you haul quite a bit of stuff or tow a lot add the air lift 1000 bags inside the coil. performance CAI, Shorty headers, magnaflow y pipe, some kind of cat back, tuner, and the catch cans are very popular. if you want to go low you and do a 2/4 drop and if you want to lift it you can front level kit and the add some coil spacers to the rear get 2 in lift and add some 275 65r20 witch are 34's and those tires would cost 1200 mounted and balanced. Those are many ideas look google for images and youtube for exhaust clips.

if i had 2 grand I would do side steps, tint match my front windows to the rear, add air lift bags, billet grill upper and lower, front tow hooks, bed liner, lift it 2 inches with some 34 in tires and spend the left over of speakers.

Agree. I refer to my stock Goodyears as "slicks"

I'd go with a 4 inch BDS lift to eventually fit 35's without a loss in ride quality

How about a bakflip vp tonneau cover, some side steps, amp research bed step, and 2 bottles of plastidip to make the shiny parts black.

If its 4x4, lift it 4 inches, and if its 2wd, slam it. Do 35s later. Maybe Vara and CC too.
