Ok so after finally getting around to it, I've updated my SC and FINALLY worked it out with SC to fix my programmer so that I can purchase and download the Advanced Trans Tune option....

Now on to the business. I've downloaded the 08' 4.7 shift schedule from Directory Listing of /superchips/ and was wondering if there is an easy to way transmit this to the programmer or is printing it out and manually entering it the only way? Also, what sort of TM % should I be looking for? I've heard others say 8.8% PT and 10% WOT (of Stock TM) .... stock TM from what I saw on the tuner ranged from 70% - 86% ....

Well, I'm about to head out and fill her up so I have plenty of gas for the weekend to mess around with this, be back in a bit to start the modifying :naughty:

Thanks,

Kyle

Yeaaah, I've looked over the FAQ from the site and remember a lot of chatter about the subject back when the ATT was still in beta testing. I'm probably just going to go out and write down what the stock&SC shift schedules are and see how they compare to the listed 08' 4.7L schedule.

But I'm still not too sure about the TM and what to set that to .... 10% maybe? But a bit weary seeing as how stock/SC is set way up there at 70-86%.

Running the Cortex 3950. And with your TM at 8% .... I guess setting mine to 25% and working down from there is a good starting point to just FEEL what kind of a difference it is .... wouldn't hurt anything right?

Well, after printing up the 08' 4.7L schedule from Directory Listing of /superchips/ I found that there were some BIG differences in that the TP% was a tad off or that the MPH couldn't go as high or spot on due to the increments available.

So I just adjusted relative to the schedule and wrote down the numbers, I'll post a screen shot of the excel tomorrow.

I just went with SC tune with User defined Torq Management and I'll tell you what, going from 70-86% down to 22% for all 1-4UP . . . I freaking love how much smoother the shifts are! Can't wait until I get a schedule that can accommodate for stock tires and 4.56 gears ... speaking of which, could the gears be why the TP% and MPH's are different? or is that simply the difference with vehicle to vehicle?

Thanks and good night.
