Hey guys. New here. I bought a 99 1500 4x4 with the NV3500. Needed new input shaft and cluster gear due to broken off teeth in the gears. I got the new cluster and input shaft. Nowhere in the manual or anywhere I can find on the internet does it mention this pin that has a small clip on the front. Problem is it is too big for my new shaft and for the life of me I cant figure out what it is even for. Any ideas?
