From what im reading it is suggested to use the canbus error code cancellers rather then relays

And this is why I stopped chancing it with cheap hid kits years ago. I've had several kits from Jeremy, never an issue. And if a problem ever occurs I know he'll answer his phone or email to help resolve it.

Good luck.

Ya I know guys DDM is cheap stuff but ive never had issues with them and didn't when I installed it JUST when I tried to use high beams a triggered the error. If I disconnect the battery would that kinda reset the computer?

I installed 2 DDM Tuning kits on my 2014 Express. One or lows and one for fogs. I have installed DDM Tuning kits on a..... 2013 Challenger, 2000 Silverado, 1998 Grand Prix, 2009 Kawasaki ZX6, and a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom. Never have I had a bulb go out or a ballast die yet. That being said there can always be a bad unit. With my Ram I had a few hiccups but it has been working perfect since early December. With the Ram I had to add a 10,000 uF Capacitor to each ballast in order to keep them from flickering. My high beams are still the factory bulbs and work fine. Do you still have the factory High Beams? Did you need to install error cancelers or capacitors?

See I just looked at my truck and the high beams are still installed I never touched the dam high beams lol so what I have are those gold things that get 500 degrees and you have to mount on metal, I have thoes. So when your actually installing the hids you have to unplug the truck from the headlight and if you guys remember it was a purple plug I believe the two gold lava sticks connected between the truck and the headlight housing COULD this have gotten loose or something? but how can it just be throwing the high beams and not lows too this makes no since. Cause there were no error UNTIL I tried to use the high beams!

Just went out there and passenger side high beam doesnt turn on. I bet the bulb blew out when I tried to turn it on. Ugh guess Im taking it all apart this weekend. I miss being able to just turn the wheels to the left or right peel back wheel cover and have access removing grill and headlights is a PITA!

Didn't realize DDM was cheap, their kits are realistically priced for the market IMO, and I've used them for years with no problems. It's not 2004, it's 2015; HID kits shouldn't cost $200. (Not saying Jeremy's does, just generalizing) I never had problems with the bulbs either. I'm running DDM's on both my retro fits and fogs with no problems currently.

That being said, HID's of all valuations need to be wired correctly. Ballasts are sensitive to voltage.

I had DDM's in my 09 and had no issues. We just put a set in my friends 14 Ram. I don't have any idea what harness you used I just used the error cancel boxes that they sell for $10 or $15 a set and worked great in both trucks. I have had hid's in all my vehicles and never used any relay harness or anything like that. Now my 13 and 14 I had canbus ballast kit just to eliminate that extra box since it was one more connection to make. But I have always just plugged everything in and not harness or anything you mount on metal that gets hot.
