outwism - try this. Lay out the cover in the closed position, crawl under the cover and then loosen the clamps. Go back to the top side and make sure the cover is sitting square over the bed and gently push down on the sides (edges) where the cover appears to be sitting too high, then go back under the cover (while it is still in the closed position) and tighten up the clamps. I did this and this is how I got the best seal. The key is to make sure the rubber strip on the top of the rails is close enough to the bed to put enough pressure on the rubber strips to help create a good seal.

The instructions say to place the rail level to 1/8" about the bed rails but 1/8" is defiantly to high, that's where I started and ended up at level and it was still a bit on the high side. Mine is getting tighter after a few weeks as the weather stripping will compact some and then the rubber on the rails will form flatter after being in the sun, but I probably could move mine down a tad still.
