I've been looking and reading all over the place to see what the options are for a Tonneau cover for my 2026 Ram 2500. The bed has the OEM "cargo rail" installed. Is it an option to remove this rail and replace with any cover system for my bed size? The Mopar site provides astonishingly little clarity on the soft roll-up cover they offer, including zero information about installation on the OEM cargo rail. I have no idea what I'd be getting from them.

I'm not interested in getting a dealership involved for something DIY like this. I appreciate any insight from someone who is familiar. Thanks all...

Just get a bed cover of your liking that is compatible with the rambox. There should be several options.

Non rambox covers will not work, because the bed opening is a lot wider.

I don't understand. Why do you want to remove the OEM rail? I have a Truxedo Sentry hard rollup cover on my Rambox truck, and the OEM rail stayed in place. The OEM rail comes in handy at times.

Tankerguy, the silver rails are the mounting points for an aftermarket cover. Does your truck have a factory OEM cover? They would be black.

Most covers use that OEM rail to mount to. We offer several options that would work for your truck. Message me and we can go over options and pricing

All you need is the silver rails and a Truxedo Truxport. Works perfectly. Half the cost of many

Silver cargo rails, a BackFlip MX4 and Ramboxes! Works great.

What do you do to fill the gap at the rear corners that let moisture get into the bed? I have the rambox.
