Hi folks, I'm installing a CB into my 1500 and I have a kind of dumb question. I want to mount the mic holder in between the 4x4 control and the blower control. The screws are less than 1/4" long. Second choice would be to the upper left of the 12V power outlet. Same goes for the CB itself, the bracket takes small screws, I'd like to mount it directly above the radio, maybe 1 1/2" back from the edge. Can you tell me if there would be any harm in putting these small self-tapping screws there? Thanks!
