Okay guys, so I have been considering two options...
selling my K&N intake and getting a closed box intake..with some sort of ram air set up
or making my own box for the K&N
So..the things im wondering about..
I would probley use some kind of plexiglass/wood concoction..(more comfortable with carpentry then fiberglass work..)
do you think wood would hold up in a engine bay?
and then the K&N has the filter in the front passenger side of the bay, pretty far away from the stock air duct hole..should I try to tie into that stock hole or just rely on the ram air..?
heres a pic for reference..thanks for your commets and suggestions.
