Intake differences

Been scanning around and cant really find what im looking for.

For most of the 5.7 cold air intakes it shows a MY split, that being 09-12, and then 13-18. What are the differences between the 2? And is it something simple that can be adapted?

There is a S&B CAI on local craigslist for a great price, but it shows it is 09-12.

While waiting for someone to chime in- Check S&B Web site and see if there is a difference in part numbers.

Any intake designed for 2009+ should work up to present. I don’t think there’s been a single change made to the intake set up on them…

Theres a difference in the way the A/C lines are routed.Usually you can get enough movement out of them to fit the earlier style airboxes.

The AC line routing is the difference, I bought an AEM Cai for 09-12 and installed it on my 13. Only modification necessary was notching the heat shield for AC line clearance.
Besides that, it bolted right in place
