Hey guys. Sorry I don't currently have a pic. But my motor is the 318 v8 in the 91 d250. In the intake snorkel on the bottom of the piping about 7 inches before the carb. There is a black 2 inch hose that goes from the intake down to ??? It's not connected currently. Truck runs and idles fine. Any heads up what this is so I can order a replacement. Thanks. I'll get a pic up later. Sorry I'm new to this world. Never owned a dodge or older vehicle. Doing AL the work myself learning along the way.

just a wild guess, there is supposed to be a 2" paper flex hose, which connects air cleaner snorkel to a sheet metal "stove" which is attached to the left exhaust manifold. At least that's what I have on my 86.

it is not really needed. it is just there to help your engine reach operating temp quicker. most of the time those are rusted out and gone.
