Hoping I can get a little help. I have never been real good with tools, but in retirement I have a little more time and a little less money, so fixing things I can fix myself makes sense. Fixing things that some would consider mundane or easy is a major accomplishment. So here goes. I purchased a used 2015 ram big horn 1500. I do not have power in to the center console cigarette lighter or to the entertainment usb, but I do have power to the other usb in the center console. What is the best way to hunt down the culprit. Is it a fuse, if so point me in right direction as to which. If it was either the entertainment USB or cigarette lighter I'd think that piece was bad, but both? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Likely a fuse. Look in your engine bay for the TIPM (fuse box) next to your battery. There are four clips to remove the lid and a diagram fuse listing on the underside of the lid to point you to the fuse location. It should be a 20amp fuse.

I replaced fuses, negative results. What doesn't make sense is that the cigar lighter and media usb do not have power yet the usb two inches to the right of media usb has power.

Make sure you are seeing voltage on both sides of the fuses. If you are but no power at the outlets, it is a wiring (check grounds too) and/or a connector issue. That is all that is left.

As BossHogg stated it could be a wiring or connector issue if the fuses check out. If someone before you disconnected wires while making a repair they may have failed to reinstall a connector or pinched a wire. I’m not sure how your truck is set up as my 2018 with the center console only has one media hub inside the console lid and both USB allow access to the radio media functions. I’d start by checking voltage at the cigar lighter and if dead disassemble the console or jump seat to find the wiring.

i'm not sure on that year truck, but, sometimes there's an A or B option for seating the fuse. One option is for HOT all the time, the other option is for HOT only when the truck is ON.

i switched mine because i didn't want my dash cam to record the inside of the garage for days if not using the truck.

also, as suggested, check power to the fuse when the truck is accessories on.
