I have a 2014 Tradesman 2500 6.4 .
I bought a 2013 Big Horn 1500 for the door panels and seats. Once I started pulling the parts I decided it would be nice to have all these options in my truck. Full center console, power seats, auto dimming rear view mirror, inverter, 8.4 Uconnect, steering wheel controls for the radio, climate control and lighted mirrors in the visors.
My question is am I going to have to change the complete cab harness? And what programming am I going to do?

'13 to '14 was a big transition year for electronics in the Rams as far as control modules and communications protocols are concerned. Have seen / read of a lot of wiring differences, too.

Sure it can be done, but be super vigilant in the research of various components.

The big change was from the '12 to '13 model year which is when the facelift occurred and the electrical architecture happened.
@WVjunkman you probably will have to swap out a few of the cabin wiring harnesses since the BigHorn is based off the SLT trim level which is different from the Tradesman

Piling on to say @Mpgrimm2 is an excellent resource for custom harnesses for mods like this AND you will want AlfaOBD.

DO NOT SWAP COMPLETE DASH /cab HARNESSES BETWEEN TRUCKS FOR AN 8.4/HVAC or AUDIO CONVERSION !!!

Some things you can use, some you can't. It's an If this then that scenario.

Message me if you'd like the 4th Gen 8.4 radio and seat upgrades done correctly and I will do my best to get to squared away.
