Morning all,

Brand new here, so if there's already a thread addressing my problem please let me know.

I have an 07 1500 with the 5.7 and its throwing the P0344 code, Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Intermittent Bank 1 or Single Sensor. I replaced the camshaft sensor with an aftermarket sensor and its still acting up. I've done a 'wiggle test' to check the wires and everything seems solid.

After changing the sensor I tried erasing the code but it came back immediately. Limp mode is intermittent and the conditions somewhat varies when it activates, so I never know when it's going to happen. Sometimes it'll activate if I go over 60mph, sometimes it won't. Sometimes cruise control will work under 60mph, sometimes it won't work at all.

Do I need a genuine Mopar sensor? Could there be something else causing the code? Any help y'all can give would be greatly appreciated, I'd like to get my baby back on the road.
