Intermittent Lock Issues

Hey all. 2009 Dodge Ram intermittently won't lock/unlock. I can be standing right next to the truck (usually with something in my hands, of course) and mashing on that unlock button and nothing happens. It is NOT the key FOBs. I know this because originally I didn't have remote start and the old key FOBs had the same issue. Added the OEM remote start module, which came with new FOBs, and I have the exact same problem with both old and new. So it's something within the truck. Any ideas?
