Bought my 2017 Quad Cab Ram 1500 a few months ago. 1 year old when I got it. I had a 2000 Dodge Dakota before the Ram, but my son and his friends didn't fit in the back seat anymore, and at 18 years old, it started having too many quirks... 
Still ran OK, but wanted something newer.
Wife has a Dodge Grand Caravan, and before that we had a 2002 PT Cruiser, so we're definitely a Chrysler family

Additions to the truck so far:
ARE Cap
drop-in bedliner (came with the truck)
Side steps
Rear step to get into bed easier
Dee-Zee tailgate assist
Front receiver hitch (to attach my push plow in the winter)
Front step (welded it myself to work on the truck properly) that goes in the front receiver
dash cam
Weathertech floor mats, front and back
Weathertech vent visors
Weathertech mud guards
Front camera mounted into the tow hook opening
