I have noticed a noise resembling a popping coming from the rear end lately. Nothing appears to be loose or out of place.

I have noticed that the leaf packs have sagged ( i am assuming from a lift block adding extra pressure on them), and I am wondering if it is possible for them to go south?

I took a knee while my wife drove back and forth over the curb and it appears the noise is coming from this general area.

Thanks for the help in advanced.

Have you changed your shocks lately? If so if the bolt is smaller than the eye on the bottom of the back shocks you will get a similar noise. This happened to me... Its an easy fix though.

No, I did the dual rear shocks like 10k miles ago (year-year and a half) so I think that would have become apparent before them.

Problem has been found, and fixed.

The dual shocks put too much pressure on the factory shock mount. It busted it right off and into the bed of the truck, leaving a nice sized dent (not noticeable due to drop in liner). The noise was the metal bracket rubbing across the bottom side of the bed constantly. Guy at work welded it back on, went back to single shocks and she is good as new.

Very...something is loose on my shackles causing the rear axel to come out of alignment and the left side to ride higher than the right... I cant find the problem so it looks like the mechanic will be getting another $100 out of me to find the loose bolt.:Grenade:
