Hello,
I have a weird issue, for the past 2 months after the latest uconnect software update on my phone I can no longer use the app to control anything on my truck. I went to the uconnect website and it states no updates available. I then called uconnect and they informed me I have to the dealer install 4 updates on my truck to fix these compatibility issues.
I am trying to wrap my head around why I am required to pay the dealer to install the updates when I was never informed went I updated my app it for render it useless.
My reverse camera intermittently does not work, I also received an email stating there is a recall for software update to fix it. However when the dealer typed in my VIN it says it is not for my truck.
Lastly my tailgate occasionally doesn’t close properly and it has opened up while driving, I see a recall for this but the dealers again typed in my VIN and it says it is not for my truck.
