IT WON'T START

I have a crazy, crazy electrical problem with my 2011 1500 Hemi 5.7. This truck can be driven any amount of time, stop and periodically when I go to restart it will have a dead battery or it may seem to. It has a new battery, working charging system. Any ideas or suggestions on this problem?

What's it doing? Does it crank over or just click?

Confirm nothing electric works: check the hazard flashers, interior lights, brake lights. If these don't work there is a basic power or ground issue. If these do work but nothing happens when turning on the ignition it's probably a little more complex, ignition switch/circuitry e.g.
