Two or three Weeks ago I hit the left blinker to signal a turn and got the dreaded ding and message that my left rear turn signal was out. Ok, no problem, things like that happens. Before I bought a replacement bulb I pulled the fixture to check the connections. The connectors were tight but pulled off to check the pins and they looked clean and straight.
So I then reconnected and tested left blinker and low and behold the error had cleared and blinker worked fine. I figured maybe something wasn't tight or seated after all. I reattach the fixture and for a number of days no problems, but again get error that left rear blinker was out so I'm thinking WTF. So waiting for a day I have time to pull fixture again, but before that happens it error corrects itself and all works fine again.
This working/not working continues. Last two days no problems until driving home from work tonight goes out again, only to clear itself before getting home.
I have a 14 with OEM LED tails, any thoughts what is up? Could it be the bulb is going bad or a bad ground ? Or an electrical issue elsewhere?
Give me your thoughts or theory's.
