Well guys it's been a good time on here with all you guys making me bye stuff for my truck lol but it was just time for me to move on got bored with the truck and drive to much a day so I got a 2014 altima so far love it not as fun off the line as with the truck but not as nerve wrecking as driving in the rain and the mods started already tinted lol I'll be floating around on here every now in then

Goodbye

The altima won't look as cool by the campfire, but if it saves you commuting $$ I get it. Best of luck with the new ride!

Does it have a CVT?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my '01 Sentra SE w/SR20 engine (306,000KM and going strong) but won't consider another Nissan unless they stop putting ridiculous snowmobile engines in them.

Good luck wife has a 11 altima I bought it new and she took it over when we got married and she loves it 60k miles tires, oil changes, air filter and a mass airflow sensor been a very good car and for a 2.5 it's has a decent amount of get up nothing like a hemi but not bad, a lot less thirsty.

I had a 10 2.5 altima, was a nice car for the money, but it was one of the earlier years of the cvt and it had a jerk while cruising at around 40 mph. They came out with a TSB but the local dealer said it would be 2 weeks so I traded it in lol. But yeah gas mileage is killing me right now. Thinking of buying another beater civic and fixing it up like I did with the 96 I bought.

Damn watch out for those CVTs mom has a 13 Nissan and for a 4 cylinder I gets 26 mpg and shudders with new plugs and wires the 3.5 v6 ecoboost from a Ford Escape gets 28 on its worst day. But the sound systems are F*****g killer on them and the torque and acceleration are bada** especially since I wear boots and know no limits :evillol:.

I know how you feel when I had my 09 Big Horn CC I also had a 09 Cobalt SS Turbo for saving gas on days I needed to drive more plus it was a lot more fun when There wasn't a lot of traffic. Ended up selling both when I got my 13 Ram CC then traded that for a 14 RC Express and already have plans to trade this in sometime in 2016 so I can get a Vette. Probably sell my 98 Trans Am also I have had it well over a decade it's the only car I have actually held onto without getting bored with it.

Good luck brother!

I was thinking of buying a Prius.... the gas savings alone would practically pay the new note!

Im liking our gas prices here now, only paying 78.4 cents a litre. Romping on it more and more (raced a new durmax in second gear yesterday, was even believe it or not, but I let out at probably 5000 rpm and 100km/hr in a 60 zone. I think I woulda had him top end of 2nd) since im saving about 10 bucks a fill lol. Like that's a reason to romp on it.

I drive the ram like I want regardless of what I have to put in the tank $ wise. I USED to think about gas saving and whatnot....now I JDGAF. Smiles are more important than miles. (as long as no annoying/frustrating red / blue lights in your rear view)

That's the thing I just moved from katy to tomball and work at the airport behind the igloo plant in brookshire so I went from a 20 mile drive to almost 100 mile (both ways)
