What's your professional opinion between ARH and JBA Matt?

The ARH headers are a better quality, and I like that they offer a 1 3/4" primary size for the bolt on daily drivers.

The JBA's are a great bang for buck setup though. There are just as many fast trucks running the JBA's as the ARH, so I dont think you can go wrong either way.

Do you think that any low end loss I would see on the JBA would be noticeable on an 8 speed? Im thinking of going with them because of the nitrous, I figure they will perform better on the bottle than 1 3/4 would.

There are quite a few fast N/A 8sp trucks running the 1 7/8" headers, so you will be fine. I like the 1 3/4" better for the guys that dont race their trucks and care more about tq and mid range power for towing or just everyday street driving.

That's what I'm on the fence about. I put about 50 to 60 miles a day on mine, and tow occasionally. Don't want to go full race truck just yet..

Are you aware of any tri-y setups for these trucks? Coming from a gm i know the to-y setups are better for daily driving

Last company to make a Tri-Y setup for a Hemi ram was Edelbrock, and they discontinued those more than 5 years ago. We have numerous trucks running 12's N/A with the ARH and JBA longtubes. These same trucks are driven daily, pull trailers, take long road trips, and race for fun. The longtubes for these trucks perform very well.

The 1 3/4" will give you more grunt down low, but with your other supporting mods, the 1 7/8" wont be sluggish.

Its the 5/6 speed guys with a stock tq converter and 3.55 gears or the stock 8sp guys with 3.21 gears that struggle with the larger 1 7/8" primaries.

Does anyone know a ball park figure on the cost of ceramic coating a set of headers and y pipe?

Jba doesn't offer a y pipe with cats. If you want cats, then I would go with the ARH longtubes.
