I hated the original height of the knobs. They would poke into my arm at drive thru windows. It's super easy I just unscrewed the knobs and drilled into them a bit farther then screwed them back on. I've got them about 1/4" above the trim ring when locked now.

I do have some pics but a lot of it is unremarkable. Just upgrading the tradesman package with some comforts or features I didn't want to pay for at the stealership. Sometimes the package cost included some things I wasn't willing to pay for so I decided to buy what I wanted and add it and leave off the stuff i didn't want.

This one has the Chrome Grille Inserts which I think look much better than the black ones it came with.

Here is how it looks with the Drop Springs and the mudflaps installed.

I agree with you on the chrome grill inserts, gives it a higher end look. Love the door sill covers, I just installed the same ones yesterday.

You did some really good mods, the truck looks beautfiul!

Only one question: Chrome exhaust tip? ;)

Any thoughts to replacing the front bumper for one with the fog lights? To me, the bumper with fogs would also help give it a little higher-end look.

I want a Laramie because of all the interior stuff. But I'd want to replace the grille inserts and tail lights from a Sport and the wheels from an SLT/Outdoorsman (the same wheels you got).

I've thought of it but I'm not sure the wiring is installed on the Tradesman and I'm also not sure I care enough to put them on there.
I did install the Sylvania Silver Star Ultra headlights but that is about the extent of my mods for exterior lighting besides the LED plate lights.

Where did you get the upper glove box?

I ordered it from allmoparparts.com they are a forum sponsor and they have put together a kit for each of the different interior trims.

Mopar Ram Interior Accessories: 2009-2015 Ram 1500 Accessories

I went ahead and ordered the light kit for the upper glove box as well and the lower box lock kit.

If you get the lower box lock kit be sure to take it to a dealer to have the tumblers put in for your key before you insert the cylinder into the lock. If you don't you will have to buy another kit.
My first one didn't have that step on the instructions that came with the locking kit and the website's instructions were not working at the time I ordered.

I am torn between the grill inserts. I like them both, about the same actually. Truck looks good, by the way.

I decided that I wanted chrome inserts to match the chrome cross bars. If I had body color matched cross bars I would have kept the black inserts I think.

Nope, I'm not going to make it harder for my wife (5'3") to get in the truck. That is part of the reason I lowered the rear a bit with the springs.

Also I've heard that lift kits lead to larger tires, and larger tires lead to poor economy. Not interested in poor economy. I bought the V6-8 speed combo for better economy since I don't load it down or tow heavy trailers.

Not really sure about that. I think I've got about enough chrome on it. I held off on the door strips, fuel filler cap, and body trim because it can get downright "Bedazzled" if you aren't careful and exercise some self control.

Very true! In my opinion it's just right, now. Maybe some modest chrome wheels, a lift, but otherwise it's exercising the proper amount of 'look at me!' as it is.

Needed to add I swapped in an 8.4 RA4 with the built in Garmin Navigation and just got done replacing all the speakers with Kicker CS series replacements.
