Trashed two vehicles in three weeks time a few years ago when Bambi decided it was a good time to play in traffic early in the morning on both occasions.I usually park in the handicap spot if wife with me and they are usually a safer spot , thou she can’t get into the truck these days
Back in’58 Dad just bought a new Buick Roadmaster, he was coming home with the old ‘53 at night and as he meant a truck , there was a big old sow on the road that he couldn’t see from the truck lights.
We made bacon, but it wiped everything off the bottom of the old Buick
Felt like hitting a wall.
Just glad it wasn’t the new one
One of the local guys hit a small coyote few years back with the same truck as mine, 14 1500 , the repair was $12k for plastic and such .
Ammo is way cheaper
That was a rough stretch of luck, got the second one going again but it looked like crap from that point on until I finally sold it (Cheap).
Guys at work used to tease me about going deer hunting on 4 wheels.... Until the boss man himself hit two one morning, wasn't 5 minutes between hitting both and yes - He was VERY late to work that morning!
Hit one a few years later while riding my bike, luckily it was a really small one following mama across the road in broad daylight (2PM or so), all it did was bust up the front fender - I simply finished breaking it off and rode it home.
Ordered a new fender, installed it and all was well.
