This post is mostly a thank you to all of you members who contribute to the forums. You all were a HUGE asset in helping me find the right rubbers for my truck!

40K miles on the stock 275/60r20s, I was ready for a new set of tires. I wanted something bigger and more aggressive so I read through HOURS of threads on here regarding tires for 1500's. I settled on the Nitto Terra Grapplers G2. I paid $974 before tax & install from Tirebuyer.com.

It was by far the best deal I could find. How good of a deal was it? They had a substantial discount after you add them to your shopping cart on the website. Seemed like a really good deal but was wondering if you guys bought them any cheaper recently.

Also, If you have a picture of Nitto Terra Grappler G2's on your non lifted 1500, let me see them! Can't wait to get mine installed next week.

NICE!! I bet you'll like them. I've used the original Terra Grapplers on a previous vehicle and really liked them.

Good to hear. Once I found out there'd be no rub I just had to get over MPG loss. better tires for hauling was a benefit as well.

Here’s mine. They are great in the snow too.

Well here they are! 275/65R20s. They definitely give a bigger look to the truck in person vs the pictures.

Yes, my business is directly next door to the Ram dealership. No, I didn't get the truck from them. We get fleet pricing on Chrysler products but they weren't interested in going through that program. Well, at least the salesman I spoke with didn't want to mess with it so we ordered out of state.

Sharp looking truck. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of de-badging or not but I like yours. It's a happy medium between the hemi + 1500 and nothing at all. I may look into going that route.

If you mean mine, thank you. Yes, used the black Sport badges versus the chrome factory HEMI ones.

I'm running the exact same tire for about a year now... very happy with them in all conditions..rain, snow and towing.

Great tires, mine have 35k on them and look like new. Dads Power wagon over 40k and still great. They are decently quiet, wear forever, and traction in all situations.

Those look really good. I would love to get that size in the future. Have you noticed much change in ride/acceleration? Curious because I have a 3.21 axle

So I have about 50 miles on them so far. Here are my quick first impressions:
  1. Big apearance upgrade for guys that don't want to lift their trucks and put 35"s on their ride.
  2. Mileage seemed to drop about 2.5 gallons. Usually I'm around 18-19 on my commute home. With the larger/heavier tires are was around 16 MPG.
  3. When I pulled out into 5 lane 2 way highway, I left some rubber on the pavement. Acceleration drop isn't noticeable to me.
  4. Overall ride is a little bumpier with the stiffer tires. Definitely a little more road noise as well.
I was well aware of all the downsides bigger/more aggressive tires. They are well worth it IMO.

What size tires did you have previously?

Thanks for the update. Pretty sure I will be going with the same setup as you. The stock tires just dont seem to fit the scale of the truck
