K&N cold air intake on 2013 Laramie

Hey all, after doing some research online I am coming to the conclusion that with the 2013 models a problem is coming up with the K&N intakes designed for this year and that a bar or line of some sort is getting in the way. I was planning on installing this with a friend of mine who installed one on his Durango w/ the HEMI. What I'm wanting to know is if any of you have come across this problem and if so what did you have to do to correct it. I understand it is not a major problem but some clarity before hand would be nice as to what I may have to do.

I've installed my sb CAI with no issues in my 2013 ram. A perfect fit.
