ak take a look at some of my pictures, i have l;ights that i put behind the factory fog grill pices... i like the look of the fog grill, so i decided to keep that and make my own fog lights

you should paint your headlight housings black if you are going for a full on black out look!

Dang that looks like that took for a while! Did you piggy back the wiring to the low beams or do you have your own switch?

That doesn't look bad at all. I bet the hardest part was drilling the 3 holes in his mount to work with the stock holes.

i would be careful with those lights with the hids in them, some people have had issues where they would melt the plastic or the hids wouldn't fit at all. talk to JJ about whether or not they will fit. just a warning on those. but other than that those lights look very nice. i have seen them on a couple of the rams.

as for the fogs the hardest part was actually the holes being in the right position. wiring was easy i tied them straight into my running lights and the harness was soldered together but i kept the connectors right next to the lights. ill show you a pick of the wiring for both the bullbar lights and the fogs soon

I was speaking of his fog lights.

Heh, sounds like the "fog lights on with high beams" mod you 3rd gen guys do from time to time. You did wire them into the battery for power, right?

Yes I had a hsrness with a relay. The relay draws power directly from the battery and the switch wire for the relaybis connected to the running light on the fron driver side headlight

Looks sweet man your truck is coming along nicely. Can't wait to see what it looks like with the headlights, flares and spacers! (if you are still doing so)

I had nothing but troubles with attempting to install HiD's in those lights myself. The bulbs are too long for the projectors first. The light output is completely trash, and attempting to get a proper aim is a test in frustration. You will be pulling your hair out with HiD's installed in the spyders. Not too mention the work required to get the HiD bulb to even fit. Be prepared to modify the projector's light mount a lot with a file, and sandpaper or the bulb will not fit at all. Definitely not something I want to go through again.

Okay thank you for heads up!
@MegaMouseGW

@LS5DodgeRam: yeah I'm still shooting for all that. I just order a leveling kit for the front to bring it up so that it rides at the same height. Should have it in this weekend. After that ill replace some cosmetic stuff then continue... Still haven't found the flares though... But still looking. Also going to add a bull bar and then mount an LED light bar on it just because.
