Key Fob Question

I have normally been able to lock and unlock my truck from my house, but today I noticed I had to be right up on the truck to lock or unlock it. I changed the batteries and cleaned all the contacts. Now I can get the lock and unlock to work from the house but I have to point it directly at the truck door. This happened with both Key Fobs at the same time, and it applies to the panic button as well.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated!

The distance sucks on my truck aswell 2011 i have noticed it has gotten worse and worse as the truck aged new remotes to.

I just recently had the battery die in one of my fobs. I noticed a big decrease in range and having to hit a button 2 or 3 times to lock or unlock. I returned to the truck in a parking lot and the fob failed. I had to hold the fob up to the glass to unlock. I put a new battery in it as soon as I got home.

Mine still has an awesome range. I can lock, unlock, and remote start from 200 yards in the open.

This implies it’s not the fobs...but the RF Hub and its antenna in the truck.
Here’s an excerpt from typical RAM fitting instructions for the RF HUB and Remote Antenna which shows you the location of the modules and cable routing:
