First off that is not a 2009 Ram. The headlights are what give it away. I would check the ViN and see exactly what year it is before you think of buying it. The years 2006 to 2008 are the only years that those headlights were used. 2009 is the year that they changed the style of the front end and used the new headlight style.
Other than the above it looks clean and might be a good buy. But get the car fax and check the true year. I can almost bet it is either a 2007 or 2008, and the one selling it is trying to get it over, or it may have been a typo.

I decided to look up the ViN for you. First it is a 2008. It was manufactured at the end of the 2008 cycle and falls under the cut-off point for the new year and the old year. Looks like it was titled as a 2009, but the manufacture date lets me know it is still an 08.

If its coming back as a 08 then its weird to have the VVT hemi in it. They must have run out of the non vvt at time of production.

The cuttof for the years is around October and November. That truck was made in October just before the full change-over to the new body-style, and new headlights. Its a tricky one a lot oftimes, my friend ahs a 2006 Ram that was at the cutoff and he has the old style lights on it (the pre 2006 headlights), and he ahs to be careful when getting parts for it seeing as some are from 2005 and others are 2006.

I can bet that you will have the same problem with this truck. Some parts will be from the 2008 model year and others will be 2009 parts. I had a Nissan that was the same way. Hat to order some parts for 1994 and others from 1995, and yet my Nissan was titled as a 95.

Correcto......

Dodge is weird.........they did this in 02 as well. 02 2500/3500s - 2nd gens. The 1500s go a year earlier.

Thats a nice lookin' truck there, but quite a few miles......

I have an 04 3500 SLT single cab dually that is parked in my standard sized two car garage. Now...that being said, you wont get it in there parking straight....I had to ******* mine slightly to fit, and even then i cant get around it with the garage door closed...but it does "fit" just with some minor angled parking....:)
