knock when accelerating

Hi guys

My rear axle is giving me a knock when I accelerate and also like a zoooommmm noise when Im driving.
What will I need to replace to stop this?

Its a 2006 Dodge ram 2500 Hemi

Had the same thing happen to me ended up finding out the pinion and carrier bearings were shot, changed them myself but the dealer wanted like 500 bucks to change them

Sounds like a good possible cuprit. Prolly a good idea to remove the cover and check the wear and parts and replace the fluid. Moved to Tech section for ya.
