Lamin-x install tips? (Custom cut)

Anyone have tips for installing custom cut Lamin-x on the 5th gen LED fogs? I see all the videos are for the precut. With the figs being inset so far I’m thinking it’s best to remove them first.

Thoughts?

Well, not a horrible necro-thread...anyway

I actually picked up some Amber pre-cut for my 2500 and after looking at the film and holding it up against the light, I didn't see an 'easy' way to make sure it would go on straight so I went ahead and took off the LEDs to appease my OCD.

I probably should have just gotten the cheaper sheet.. despite some gaps, there is no white light showing through when on.
But for less than $20, I'm not complaining too much..
